Description
Known to come from a healthy, hardy, and productive tree. It is attractive in color. Lots of growers find it unsatisfactory as a commercial apple. It bears annually and is successful on sandy or gravelly loam. Commercial season only goes till January. Cultivated on a farm on the line of New York and Vermont.

Good to very good. Firm, very tender, juicy, and peculiarly aromatic, pleasant subacid.

Tender skin makes the least bruise visible. Skin in thin, tough, smooth.
