Fameuse
- Pomme de Neige
- Snow
McGann believes this cultivar may be from France or from Canada. Wilson notes that the place of origin is also contested but that the apple may be Canadian or American. It is named fameuse because it was well known and renowned, and also called snow apple due to its white "flesh."
