Quince Apple

Yellow in color and juicy when ripe, resembling the Yellow Newtown Pippin. This variety originated near the Caspian Sea and is recorded as early as 600 BCE by the ancient Greeks. It was introduced to colonial America in the 17th century. It is often used to make jelly.
